About the author
Joseph Osirian began practicing yoga in 1992. Within a year he came to realize that there is an exquisite world lying in a deeper realm than the contemporary society he had lived in up until then. He abandoned his career aspirations and became a monk to devote his life to the pursuit of true yoga. He earnestly explored yoga for 30 years or so almost entirely on his own. He now feels the need to clarify the realm of yoga, which modern humanity does not understand. He sincerely hopes that many people in the globe will correctly understand and start practicing yoga that has not been properly revealed to humanity until now to benefit themselves.
I was born in Osaka, Japan in 1969. I started practicing yoga in 1992 while I was still in university. Within a year, I had various mystical experiences, as described in Chapter 1 and Chapter 3 of “True Location of Heaven.” After such experiences, I gave up my secular career and entered a life of seclusion in the mountains as a monk.
After many twists and turns, I have continued my yoga practice for around 30 years.
I’m not a master of a high level that I can boast about to others, but I suppose I have accumulated a variety of yoga experiences and knowledge enough to be able to guide yoga to the general public.
I am not currently living as a monk. Since I thought that it would be necessary in the future to explain what kind of thoughts I have about my current life, I have included them in Chapter 5.
I have published this book out of a certain thought.
I would be happy if you could pick it up and read it sometime.
